About the Club
Islamic Prayer Club was started several years ago by Mr. Ahmed because students were missing the congregational Friday prayer, "Jumu'ah" due to being in school. As a result, Mr. Ahmed took it upon himself to create a club where students could meet up after school every Friday and make up the salah for Friday prayer. The club will start 11/05/2023 and run until 3/10/2024. Meetings will be held every Friday at 2:30 - 3:00 PM.
Five Pillars of Islam
The five pillars of Islam are the foundation of the religion that all Muslims are expected to follow. By following them, Muslims are providing their faith and devotion towards God. They are often referred to as "pillars" because without them in place, their relationship with God would lack stability.
Imam - "The Profession of Faith"
Salat - "Daily Prayer"
Zakat - "Obligatory Charity
Sawm - "Fasting during Ramadan"
Hajj - "Pilgrimage to Mecca"
