The mission of the WCS Adult ESL program is to give every adult learner, for whom English is their second language, the skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing English) they need to better their lives (gain higher levels of emotional, social and economic security).

What you need to register:

• 2 Pieces of Photo Identification—Valid Michigan Driver’s License, Michigan I.D. or current Passport, Proof of Birth (birth certificate, visa, white/green card, citizenship paper)
• Something to show residency in Michigan. We accept residences from Wayne, Oakland and Macomb County
• Social Security Card (if you have obtained a number)


• Registration cannot be accepted without these items

*Please allow yourself 1 ½-2 hours for testing

Class times offered:

• Monday - Wednesday Morning Class 9:30am-12:30pm
• Monday - Wednesday Evening Class 5:00pm-8:00pm
• Tuesday - Thursday Morning Class 9:30am-12:30pm
