Christine Kincaid Dewey

Christine Kincaid Dewey is an alumna of Wayne State University. She carries a Bachelor of Arts in English with an Education major in Mathematics and Masters of Education in Secondary Mathematics. She is a member of the Executive Board of the DACTM (Detroit Area Council of Teachers of Mathematics), serving as President in 1999-2000 and again in 2008-2010. A frequent conference speaker, Christine often gives presentations on subjects such as writing/literautre in mathematics, conceptual understanding, trigonometry and celebrating Pi day!

She taught in the Roseville Community School district and in the C/T program at Carleton Middle School in WCS before joining us here at the Center in 2005. Her responsibilities at MMSTC involve teaching FST and Calculus. Mrs. "Kinewey" always strives to make math relevant for her students. Math is everywhere!
