Item Checkouts Ø Kindergarten = 1 book ü Check-out and return on Friday Ø 1st grade = 2 items ü Check-out and return on Tuesday Ø 2nd grade = 2 items ü Check-out and return on Friday Ø 3rd grade = 3 items ü Check-out and return on Wednesday Ø 4th grade = 3 items ü Check-out and return on Monday Ø 5th grade = 3 items ü Check-out and return on Wednesday	How long can I keep Items? Ø All books and items are checked out for 2 weeks. Lost, overdue, or damaged books Ø Books are overdue once 2 weeks have passed. Ø There are no fines for overdue books UNLESS the book is lost or damaged. Ø You will receive an overdue note as a simple reminder to return your items. Can I renew my book? Ø Yes, to renew a book just bring it back to the Media Center and check it out again. This will give you an additional 2 weeks. May I take my friends book? Ø NO! Bring the book back and check it out in your OWN name.
Please consider volunteering in the Media Center. You can commit to two hours a week to help students select and check out books or just for special functions. Whatever will work for you, I’d love to have your help!
