Fundraising

Why?

-  We support achievement with programs such as Student of the Month, DARE graduations, and assemblies.  We fund teacher consumables, Scholastic Magazine, copier maintenance, assessment testing snacks, service squad uniforms, and  yearbook supplies.

    -  We support numerous school activities.  See the Activities page for more details..

    -  With enough funding, we pay for special purchases.  Purchases funded by the PTO in prior years include the sign in front of the school and the playground equipment.

• McDonalds (14 Mile Rd./Ryan – The first Wednesday of every month.  Between 4:00-7:00 p.m. tell them you’re from Harwood when you pay.)

• Little Caesar’s Pizza Kits – Have the kids make dinner for a change!  On sale monthly—watch for flyers. 
• Harwood Cookbooks – Wow, are there some good recipes in here—especially for those holiday parties. 
• Entertainment Books – Enjoy big savings throughout the year with Entertainment Books.  On sale in September.
• Holiday Wishes:  On sale in October.  This book has great gift ideas and wrapping paper.  Wonderful ideas for those ‘hard-to-buy for’ people.  Shop without leaving your house! 
• Open a Upromise Account – The school receives money when you use the card or shop online!  http://www.upromise.com/6250.do
• Cookie Dough – Watch for cookie dough sales flyers.

After you shop, save those box tops!  Every little bit counts.  The school can bring in thousands by saving these.
