Dan is beginning his eleventh year as counselor for the Warren Consolidated School District. Dan works at Harwood and Hatherly and Green Acres Elementary schools. During his career in education. Dan has taught or counseled in all areas from developmental kindergarten through the university graduate level. he has written, developed and implemented curriculum and educational programs in schools, correctional institutions and recreational settings. Dan hold a bachelor's degree in sociology/psychology, a maters degree in education , a masters degree in guidance and counseling, and a third masters degree in developmental psychology. Dan is a licensed professional counselor and has a small private practice, he teachers for Central Michigan and Sienna Heights universities. Dan also teaches a class in New York City each summer and has written music and a book entitled, "Lifesongs".

I've been working as a school social worker since 2000 and before that did several other social service jobs both with children and adults. I graduated from Alma College with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and then completed my Master's degree in Social Work at Michigan State University.

I am married and have 2 children, a girl and a boy. As a family we love to read books, play games, and go for bike rides. When I get some free time to myself or with my friends, I enjoy playing disc golf, regular golf, going camping, and offroading in my Jeep.

My name is Lindsey Vickers and I am one of the Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) here at Harwood. This is my first year as an SLP and I am very excited to be working in the Warren Consolidated Schools!  I will be here at Harwood two days a week and in three other buildings for the remainder of the week. I have a B.A. degree from Michigan State University and a M.A. degree from Western Michigan University.

Outside of school, I enjoy sailing, traveling and spending time with my friends and family.

My Bachelors degree is in Crop and Soil Science from Michigan State University

My Masters degree is Arts in Teaching and Elementary certification from University of Michigan

For the last three years, I have taught in Warren Consolidated at Carter Middle School as an 8^th Grade Language Arts Teacher. While at Carter, I also had the pleasure of coaching 7^th grade football as well as 7^th grade basketball for several years.

I spend my spare time at my new home and am married to a fantastic teacher at Cousino High School, Karen Maras. When I am not working on the house I am normally out playing golf, swimming, or walking my  dog named Seymour.

My name is Kathy Ivezaj and I am proud to be entering my eighth year as a member of the Harwood family. I have received a Master's Degree from Wayne State University in bilingual/Multicultural Education.

After spending seven years teaching grades one and five, I have taken on the position of Language Acquisition Teacher. I will be working with students building-wide that need support with language. I am looking forward to working with  your children. Let us work together to make this a positive learning experience for all. Together we can make a difference. 

I've been working in the Warren Consolidated School District in the Title I position since October 1978.  I worked at Siersma for nine years.  I was at Pearl Lean for nine years.  I have been at Harwood  since 1996.  I am married.  I have three sons, two grandchildren and enjoy working with children.
