Meet the Staff

My name is Kristina Constantino and I am very glad to be back at Harwood Elementary school. This is where my children went to school and I was a Lunchroom Supervisor for many years. I then went on to teacher aiding and then clerical work in the district, working at Warren Mott High School for 7 years and Pearl Lean Elementary for 5 years. The parents and staff here are very friendly and thoughtful and it feels like home to me.

I am married to Peter and we have 5 grown children, a beloved daughter- and son-in law, and three grandchildren. I love to baby-sit most of all!

Kerry Keener, Principal	I would like to welcome you to Harwood Elementary School and our wonderful learning community. I am very proud to be the principal of this special place. We have been working very hard for a number of years to make this building a place where all students feel challenged, loved and safe. We were awarded for this hard work in April of 2007 by receiving the prestigious Michigan Blue Ribbon Exemplary School Award. We are very proud of this award, but we do not want to rest on our laurels. We will continue to make Harwood a wonderful learning and working environment for all of the Harwood Community. We will expect our community to S.O.A.R. (Stay Safe, Outstanding Attitude, Always Respectful, Ready To Be Responsible) everyday. Harwood is a place where we honor our diversity and challenge our students to succeed. On a personal note, I have a Masters Degree and Educational Specialist Certificate from Wayne State University. I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife and our two wonderful kids. I also enjoy spending time with my large extended family. I am an avid sports fan and former basketball coach. I also find peace working in my yard and around my house. Welcome again to Harwood Elementary School.

Sue Arini Clerk	Hi my name is Sue Arini and this is my sixth year working in the Warren Consolidated School District, part of that was here a few years back as “overload aide” in the second grade classrooms. It’s great to back with such terrific students and staff here at Harwood!! I come from a large family of "eight" brothers and sisters, growing up in the Sterling Heights area and graduating from Sterling Heights High School. I then went on to Ferris State College-majoring in Criminal Justice. I am married to Chuck and we have three children-Jason (24), Nicole (22) and Shane (12). I enjoy spending time with both family and friends, sporting events (Go Wings!), and summers either by our pool or up-north at our cottage.
