Hello!
Welcome to our ‘Book Club’ Web Page for the 2004-08 academic years. It is their fourth project, since the establishment of the Book Club, October 2004.
As teacher, founder, and coordinator of such an exciting student orientated project, it has been extremely gratifying, and a great learning experience working with such a superb group of students.
I am honored and proud to work with the 'Young Writers In Leadership Positions' as their ‘Book Club’ Coordinator. They have worked hard and diligently to share with their peers and young readers, engaging opportunities to help promote healthy decision making, and enhance one's reading through writing. among their peers. During this year, 2007-08, we have expanded our horizon and included a collection of 8th grade work.
We will use the initials of our student’s names to identify their work. However, some students (2-3) first names may be used.
It was also a great pleasure to work with the former 7th grade students (2006-07) who published a Literature Work Booklet, ‘The Unfolding Minds Of Seventh Grade Writers,’ and 8th graders who co-authored three great health books. Click on the link Book Stuff for more information.
