‘Young Writers In Leadership Positions’ Book Club was formed October 2004 at Flynn Middle School in Sterling Heights, Michigan. All members are 7th and 8th grade Health Education and Language Arts students who have worked many hard hours under the guidance of Ms. W. Nance in producing this Web Page, "Together We Create Tomorrow's Leaders Thru Reading and Writing.'

We have included for your reading enjoyment, award winning documents, engaging activities, and writing worksheets. The Web Page also has a healthy snack quiz, and several opportunities for you to highlight your talents.  So, make sure you grab a pencil and piece of paper, before you began the journey through our creativety, I bet you’ll have fun with us, while learning.

The Book Club Committee was formed to represent our many student authors, who have put together a collection of their finest written works to share with you. This is our club’s third educational Web Page endeavor, and it’s the forth major project.

The ‘Book Club’ completed it’s fist project back in 2005 with their first student publication of a Literature Workbook; ‘The Unfolding Minds Of Seventh Grade Writers’ which is available for public viewing at WCS district schools and libraries; click on the link Book Stuff for more information.

That’s right! The  picture insert are your new members of the 2007-08 Book Club; unfortunately not all members are present. Each and every member has contributed greatly to the construction of the Web Page, from the design to the actual written materials.
