Accreditation

Fillmore Elementary is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  Fillmore also has summary accreditation through the state of Michigan. 

School Improvement Process

The following, highlights some of the school improvement efforts undertaken.

• Improve home-school communications through regular use of student agendas.

• Writing process with sister classes working together to produce complete work.

• Media Center experiences with literature and writing.

• Evaluation of student performance through higher-order thinking skills tests have been adopted

• Individual MEAP building plans have been formulated in an ongoing effort to improve performance

• Technology work-shops to enhance staff awareness in hardware and software application in network and stand-alone usage.
