English Language Arts:

• Raise the MEAP 7^th grade writing scores of level one or level two students from 79% in autumn 2007 to 80% in autumn 2008.
• Raise the MEAP 8^th grade writing scores of level one or level two students from 68% in autumn 2007 to 74% in autumn 2008.

Mathematics:

• Raise the MEAP 7^th grade mathematics scores of level one or level two students from 69% in autumn 2007 to 71% in autumn 2008.
• Raise the MEAP 8^th grade mathematics scores of level one or level two students from 76% in autumn 2007 to 78% in autumn 2008.

Science: 

• Raise the MEAP 8^th grade science scores of level one or level two students from 83% in autumn 2007 to 85% in autumn 2008.

Social Studies:

• Carleton students will maintain or raise their social studies proficiency on the ninth grade MEAP assessment by at least one percent.  74% of 9^th grade students who attended Carleton Middle School scored a level one or level two on the autumn 2007 9^th grade MEAP assessment.
