BMS Students Working Hard to Support Kids
Against Hunger!
During the month of November, students, parents, and
other members of the community participated in Penny
Wars! During the fundraiser, students raised over
$900.00 to support Kids Against Hunger.
In December, students and staff participated in
preparing meals for Kids Against Hunger. Students had
to measure, package, and box meals for those in need
in our own community and in other places in need
world-wide. Students packaged over 20,000 meals.
Channel 7 (WXYZ) also visited to do a news story about

At our Chili's Fundraiser this month, students and
families continued to support Kids Against Hunger.
During the two hours that staff members served pancake
breakfasts to our community, over $600.00 was raised
for this cause! Thanks to all who supported by working
or attending this event.
